URGENT ACTION NEEDED
In 1948 while the Fillmore was a thriving Black self sufficient neighborhood AKA Harlem of the West, the government seized property through eminent domain, said it was blighted, and redlined it.
77 years later, continuous Negro removal, broken promises, homelessness, graffiti, boarded up storefronts, empty storefronts, food desert, multimillion dollar property deserted.
It’s time for the community to stand up and seize back control and hold our governmental officials accountable!
