Come celebrate our elders while enjoying live performances, arts & craft activities, games, and a visual art exhibition.

Program:

  • 1:00 – 1:30 pm: Performances by Gen Taiko youth groups

  • 1:30 – 2:00 pm: Art activities, games, light refreshments

  • 2:00 – 3:00 pm: Preview performance of In Their Footsteps: The Issei Women’s Legacy and the Japanese YWCA

  • 3:00 – 4:30 pm: Opening reception for art exhibition by Leon Sun “Animal Spirit: Visions from across the river”
