Please mark your calendars! This year, Japan Society of Northern California’s Award of Honor Gala, our signature event of the year to celebrate U.S.-Japan collaboration, will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024! (Note that this is earlier than recent years when we held our Gala in November.)

For more than 100 years, the Japan Society of Northern California has fostered collaboration and understanding between the United States and Japan by providing Northern Californians with a range of language, cultural and business programming and opportunities for fellowship. The programming has varied through the years but the mission to foster understanding and collaboration between Japan and the United States remains unchanged.

We sincerely hope that you will join us on September 27th at the Hotel Nikko in San Francisco for our most important fundraising and community event of the year. We promise you that this will be a fun event that brings together a wonderful group of Americans and Japanese from business, government, the arts, academia and the community who share a strong commitment to close ties between the United States and Japan.
