“We are One” would like to invite you and your family to join us for lunch and positive

discussions on safety in our community. Due to the recent rise in violence in our country, it is

more important now than ever, to talk about how to be safe whether in school, in the park or

while going out. Children and teens will learn about things they can do to stay safe in an

emergency and will have an opportunity to speak to San Francisco police officers. Discussion

topics will be age-appropriate. This is a special event hosted by inter-faith communities in

Japantown and Fillmore to promote thought-provoking conversations with

our families around safety and preparedness.
